Different with the complicated commissioning and maintenance of traditional 400 Hz Power Ground Units, Power Coil combined power unit and cable into a whole set. With excellent performance of saving space, labour and product cost, and simple operation etc, Power Coil products has now about 200 sets spreading all over the world since it was put into market in 2006 and received high appraisal of the clients.

Hobart and AXA Solid State ground power units provide precisely regulated 28.5 volt DC service with minimum noise and power consumption. These reliable solid state GPUs are equipped for engine starting in the current limiting “soft start” mode recommended by most airframe manufacturers. Specifically developed in response to customer needs, the 28.5 VDC units supply the fully regulated, dependable power required by today’s more demanding aircraft.

Hobart GPU: The Hobart diesel powered GPU’s combined with a Hobart design and Cummins or Detroit generator, to maximize GPU performance while maintaining the traditional Hobart reputation of longevity and durability.
Houchin GPU: Houchin GPU mounts the base model on a proprietary electric truck, power is provided by the GPU engine. Transmission is by electric motor and controlled by a fully programmable self diagnostic fault system. Operation of the GPU is from the drivers cab.
